We had the joy of fresh eggs from these talkative ladies, while we stayed at the wonderful Isaac's Byre Holiday Cottage - https://www.isaacsbyre.com/
The loud metal clang, is from the hens kicking their feeder. I got a feeling that the last "rant" on the recording, is because of the lack of feed within.
You also get to hear the next doors sheep and the beautiful dawn chorus.
